Criminality - Masked robbers raid jewelry store - salesperson injured
Two masked individuals have robbed a Jewelry Store in Bielefeld and injured a salesman. On Tuesday morning, the two entered the store in the city center, threatened and assaulted the 33-year-old man, according to a police spokesperson. He was subsequently treated by rescue services and taken to a hospital.
Whether the robbers used a weapon, the police refused to comment for investigative reasons. During the robbery, the men obtained various gold pieces, which they concealed in a sports bag. Witnesses reported that they then fled on foot, according to the police spokesperson. The "Neue Westfälische" had reported on this earlier.
The incident of criminality in Bielefeld's jewelry store has sparked concern in North Rhine-Westphalia. The seller, who was assaulted during the robbery, is now recovering in a hospital.
