After a post in ZDF series "Aktenzeichen XY... Unsolved" on a Wednesday evening, the police in Eckernförde are checking new leads in a several years old missing persons case. Within the first hours, around 80 tips regarding the man's whereabouts had come in at the criminal police station in Eckernförde, according to the police.

Whether among the numerous tips concrete clues to the current whereabouts of the missing person are present, will reportedly show the further investigations and reviews of the individual tips. The evaluation is still ongoing.

The man has been missing since September 19, 2021. He left his apartment around 6:00 pm. His partner had seen him leave through the window across the street. Since then, the then 48-year-old man has vanished.

The case discussed in the "Aktenzeichen XY" series on ZDF, which aired on a Wednesday evening, involves criminality in the town of Eckernförde. Despite receiving approximately 80 tips related to the missing person's whereabouts within the first hours, the local police in Eckernförde continue to scrutinize File XY to uncover any concrete leads. However, as of now, the extensive evaluation of these tips is still underway and has not yet revealed any significant information on the missing man, last seen on Television through his partner's window.
