Concert in Gelsenkirchen - Many Taylor-Swift-Fans are already waiting for good places

Hours before the first Germany concert of Taylor Swift in the evening, several hundred "Swifties" had gathered around the arena in Gelsenkirchen. In the waiting area for places directly in front of the stage, around 200 fans had gathered shortly after opening at 7 am, as observed by a dpa reporter.

The first ones claimed they had waited since 4 am in the morning before the still closed gate - in the hope of getting as close as possible to their idol in the front row. Some had camped nearby, others had brought camping chairs.

Swift's world tour started in March 2023 and caused a worldwide sensation. The shows were sold out within minutes.
