Limburg - Man with machete heavily injured
A man in Limburg has been severely injured with a machete. The 45-year-old had to undergo emergency surgery on Sunday, according to the Wiesbaden police. The conflict had reportedly taken place in a multi-family house with others, and witnesses stated that loud arguing had occurred in the yard. Then, one person had gone to a car and retrieved a baseball bat and a machete. The perpetrator had struck the 45-year-old and stabbed him with the machete.
The parties involved had eventually transported the injured man to a hospital with the car. One man had accompanied the 45-year-old to the emergency room, while the others - including the perpetrator - had disappeared.
The 44-year-old suspected perpetrator has been identified and his apartment searched. The Criminal Police have taken over the investigation and are now looking for further clues.
