Man found dead after burglary at aunt's house

Everything points to a homicide: An 86-year-old woman's home is burgled in Berlin. When the police arrive on the scene, they find the woman's nephew dead in another apartment. The homicide squad is now investigating.

The police in Berlin are confronted with a mysterious homicide. Following a suspected burglary at the home of an 86-year-old woman, her 63-year-old nephew was found dead in another apartment in the apartment building. The homicide squad of the State Office of Criminal Investigation took over the investigation into the crime in the Marzahn district.

According to the police, the woman had heard closing noises at her apartment door at around midnight. According to her, a man unknown to her then entered her apartment, overpowered her and demanded money.

He then allegedly fled with the loot. The senior citizen was slightly injured. The woman told the police that her nephew had a key to her apartment. To clarify this, the police went to the man's apartment in the same building, where they discovered him lifeless in a room. The investigators are assuming a homicide.

The investigation of the crime in Berlin's Marzahn district has garnered international attention. This is a grim reminder of the increasing rate of murder and manslaughter cases in the city. Unfortunately, this incident has resulted in several deaths this year.
