Football-Bundesliga - Mainz 05 gets an additional co-trainer

Football-Bundesligist FSV Mainz 05 is getting another co-trainer. Mikkel Jespersen will reinforce the staff of head coach Bo Henriksen and is expected to receive a contract until 2026, as the Rheinhessen announced. The 33-year-old Dane will function as second co-trainer and played 322 professional games in his homeland as an active player. Before moving to Mainz, he helped Kolding IF gain promotion to the second Danish league as an assistant.

The Football-Bundesliga team, 1. FSV Mainz 05, has appointed Mikkel Jespersen as another co-trainer. His contract is expected to extend until 2026, as announced by the Rheinhessen club. Jespersen, a 33-year-old Dane, will serve as second co-trainer in Germany's Bundesliga. Prior to joining Mainz, he played a significant role in helping Kolding IF gain promotion to the second Danish league.
