Thrill at Folk Festival - It's going around again: Hamburg Summer Festival has started

Higher, faster, scarier: The Hamburg Summerdom has started again in the afternoon for a new round. The organizers hope for more than 1.2 million visitors in the coming four weeks. Among the attractions are also many new things that should attract crowds to the big folk festival at the Feldstraßenbunker.

For example, there is a chain flyer called Nordic Tower this year, which looks like a lighthouse and is 80 meters high. According to the reports, it is the highest lighthouse in Europe.

Among the other highlights of the Summerdom are the Ghost Train Doom, two water rides, a beach club, and the Looping Carousel Mondlift. In addition, a Virtual Reality helmet can be bought for a ride on the Ferris wheel. Then you can see Paris during the day and at night during the ride.

Overall, there are around 50 amusement rides, including 20 for children. As usual, there is a Family Day every Wednesday, fireworks every Friday, the Rainbow Day with Parade, and the Dom-Summer Games for children. The Summerdom runs until August 25.
