Customs - Irish head of government approves Santa's flight
A week and a half before Christmas, Ireland's head of government Leo Varadkar has traditionally announced some good news. "I confirm that Santa Claus has been given permission to enter Irish airspace," joked Leo Varadkar in Parliament in Dublin.
Santa Claus will be allowed to cross the country's borders on December 24th and 25th. Varadkar thanked air traffic control, immigration authorities and customs for making the necessary exceptions.
