Investigations continue after threats at schools
After two teachers at two Hamburg schools were threatened, the investigations into four children and one teenager are still ongoing. As the public prosecutor's office announced on Friday, the case is proving difficult to investigate as the four boys, aged between 11 and 13, cannot be held criminally responsible. Whether charges can be brought against the 14-year-old is currently being examined.
According to the police, it is now clear that at least four of the suspects are pupils at a school in Bahrenfeld. It initially remained unclear why a teacher in Blankenese was also affected by the threats. Contrary to initial media reports, it is still not clear whether the parents will have to pay for the large-scale police operation. According to a police spokesperson, various factors still need to be examined.
Two boys aged 12 and 13 are said to have threatened a teacher with a toy weapon at a school in the Blankenese district on Wednesday. Almost at the same time, a teacher was also threatened at a school in Bahrenfeld. In addition to the two pupils who threatened the teacher in Blankenese, three other boys aged 11, 12 and 14 are suspected in connection with the incidents.
Due to the emergencies at the schools, additional resources have been allocated to ensure the safety and well-being of the students. It's crucial for all students and staff to report any suspicious activities or threats to address any potential crime-related issues promptly.
