Strife in biker subculture - Investigations against Rocker Groups - Raids in Unterfranken
In the course of investigations against two rival Rock Gangs, the police searched five objects in Unterfranken. One of the objects belongs to the President of a local group of the "Outlaws", according to a police spokesperson.
The Raids took place on Tuesday morning in Großheubach (Miltenberg district), Marktbreit, Wiesenbronn (Kitzingen district), and in Großostheim (Aschaffenburg district). At least one suspect was temporarily arrested.
Raids are a result of clashes
The background of the searches was an incident at a gas station in Marktheidenfeld (Main-Spessart district) on July 13th. A fight had broken out between the two overregional acting Rock Gangs "Bandidos" and "Outlaws". Around 40 people had attacked each other with edged weapons. According to the police report at the time, five people were injured - two of them seriously.
A suspect was taken into custody after the attack. Eight other suspects were released after examination of video recordings. Investigations are being carried out for the suspicion of serious breach of peace and grievous bodily harm.
Police secure evidence
A special investigation commission was set up. The prosecutor's office has now requested the searches based on new findings. The police hope to find new evidence. In Marktheidenfeld, according to reports, several items were secured.
The police were supported by the Special Operations Unit (USK) and the Special Operations Command (BEP). The USK is a special unit and assists the police in operations with potential for violence.
Police will send a clear message
The criminality in the Rocker scene will not be tolerated, the spokesperson added. The investigations are intended to send a clear message. Further details were not available at the time.
