From ten meters height - Intimidating wall elements of a facade encounter pedestrians

Parts of a building facade in Berlin-Mitte's Invalidenstraße have fallen down from a height of ten meters and hit a person. The passerby or passerby was lightly injured, as Berlin Fire Department announced. The parts apparently fell from a vacant building onto the sidewalk.

The Fire Department removed approximately three hours worth of loose masonry from the building's wall for safety reasons. Adjacent streets were partially closed, tram traffic was halted, as reported.

The Fire Department dispatched additional units to the incident on Invalidenstraße in Berlin, preparing for potential further emergencies. The fallen debris from the building was a major hazard, and the local fire department's emergency response team was particularly vigilant for any accidents involving passersby or nearby pedestrians on Invalidenstraße.
