Television - Inka Bause gets Schlager-Show at Vox
The singer and TV host Inka Bause is getting a new Schlager-Show at Vox. It's called "Sing my Schlager" and is supposed to go on air in the fall, according to Vox. "In the first two episodes, everything revolves around Schlager legends Marianne Rosenberg and Matthias Reim and their biggest hits." Recording takes place in Magdeburg.
The Artists: From Semino Rossi to Eko Fresh
The series follows loosely the concept of the successful music format "Sing my Song". According to Vox: "Two evenings are dedicated to well-known artists and artists interpreting the biggest songs of a star act in their own way and completely new - whether as a solo interpretation, a duet, or ensemble. The round (...) around the respective star act changes in every episode and ranges from Semino Rossi over Conchita Wurst and Anna-Maria Zimmermann to Eko Fresh."
More than 1,000 Schlager fans are supposed to attend the recordings in Magdeburg's Elbauenpark - and that is on 15 August with Star-Act Matthias Reim and on 16 August with Star-Act Marianne Rosenberg. Tickets are available.
