Germany Women's National Team - Hrubesch: With the camper to the Women's EURO 2025

Horst Hrubesch will enjoy the Europa Championship for Women 2025 as a tourist with his wife. One thing is certain, the 73-year-old national trainer stated in an interview with "Sport Bild", looking towards his future: "Next summer we will go to Switzerland and watch the EM of the girls. The camper will be ready - and we still have Italy, Slovenia, Austria planned."

It was already decided at Hrubesch's appointment last autumn that he would retire if the qualification was successful latest after the Olympic Games. He will then return to Hamburger SV, who released him as youth coordinator. The Hamburg SV icon hinted last week that he would end his football activities next year.

Hrubesch won the last EM qualification game against Austria with the DFB women 4:0, participation in the upcoming End Round Tournament is already a certainty. The chief coach hopes for a medal at the Olympics, which he will then be relieved by Christian Wück.
