A neighbor in the Dudweiler district was awakened by the noise and extinguished the fire. The residents were awakened by a smoke detector in the basement and managed to get themselves to safety. No one was injured.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the Molotov cocktails were thrown in the direction of a window against the house wall, it was reported. The smoke then entered the house through a basement window. The Police are asking witnesses to come forward.
