After a traffic accident, the A20 near Rostock was closed for several hours. According to the police, a 24-year-old driver was driving at high speed into the car of a 23-year-old early on Thursday morning. Both cars were then reported to have left the road.
In the head-on collision, the 23-year-old and his 23-year-old passenger were lightly injured, while the 24-year-old was seriously injured. Both were taken to hospitals.
The A20 towards Stettin near Rostock was then closed for several hours, traffic was diverted. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, and the police estimate the property damage at around 70,000 Euro. Investigations are now being conducted against the 24-year-old.
