Heat Warning
Weather experts forecast temperatures of 27 to 30 degrees for the southeastern regions, and 29 to 33 degrees for the northwestern regions for the weekend. Heat warnings have been issued for wide parts of the state, with the expert advising, "One should not spend several hours outside in the afternoon and forget sun protection, and drink plenty."
No Heatwave
Meteorologists are not predicting a heatwave, however. A cold front is expected to arrive from the west by Sunday, as the expert explained. There will be widespread thunderstorms and heavy rain, with localized hail and strong winds also possible. The first rain is expected for the afternoon. Sunday evening will be rainy in wide parts of Baden-Württemberg.
However, the rainfront will not last long, the DWD meteorologist added. Although there will still be occasional showers on Monday, it will be cooler starting Tuesday, with temperatures ranging from around 25 degrees. The summer will remain varied.
