The German Weather Service (DWD) forecasts temperatures between 29 and 32 degrees Celsius on Friday, and highest values between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Starting from Saturday afternoon, there might be individual showers and short thunderstorms. Rain is expected during the night, sometimes heavy.
According to the DWD, it will rain and thunder on Sunday. The highest temperatures are predicted to be between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius. The rain is expected to stop around Monday morning.
People in Saarland can expect high temperatures during the weekend, similar to those in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Weather forecast for Saarbrücken shows temperatures reaching up to 34 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Despite the warm weather in Mainz on Saturday, individual showers and short thunderstorms might occur in the afternoon. The DWD predicts that Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate will both experience rain and heavy thunderstorms on Sunday, with temperatures dropping to between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius.
