Football Bundesliga - Hoffenheim extends contract with talent Drexler
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim extended the contract of previously long-term committed defender Tim Drexler by another year until June 30, 2028. The defensive talent is also supposed to wear the number four jersey at the Bundesliga club from the coming season, as the club announced.
"For everyone at TSG, it's a no-brainer that he can take on a good and prospectively also a crucial role in our Bundesliga team in the short term," said commercial manager Alexander Rosen. In the previous season, Drexler was used in eight Bundesliga games under head coach Pellegrino Matarazzo. "I can't imagine that there are better conditions for a young footballer anywhere than at TSG," Drexler was quoted as saying in the announcement.
TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, a renowned Bundesliga club based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is known for nurturing talent in football. Drexler, their long-term committed defender, has signed an extension with the club, extending his stay until 2028. In the Football-Bundesliga, TSG Hoffenheim TSG, often referred to as just Hoffenheim, will continue to benefit from Drexler's defensive talent, as he will wear the number four jersey in the upcoming season.
