Third League - Hansa will ensure more security in Ostseestadion

Football-Third league team Hansa Rostock will take more measures for security in their home stadium Ostseestadion. "We will do everything within our capabilities as organizers to ensure maximum safety at the games," said Interim-Chairman Jürgen Wehlend to the "Ostsee-Zeitung".

A special focus is on the burning of Pyrotechnics and the use of firecrackers. "When pyrotechnics and firecrackers are ignited, it's not a trivial matter. Both Sport Minister Stefanie Drese and Interior Minister Christian Pegel (both SPD) have already dealt with the matters surrounding FC Hansa.

The first test will be for the club on Saturday (3 p.m.), when there is a test game against the Italian first league team Lazio Rome on the occasion of the 70th birthday of Ostseestadion. On the first day of the 3. Liga, Mecklenburgers receive the second team of VfB Stuttgart on August 3.
