Hannover 96: Arrey-Mbi goes - Rochelt comes

Since 2022, Bright Arrey-Mbi has played for Hannover 96. Now, the 21-year-old is departing. His next destination is Portugal. However, the Lower Saxony second division team also has a new signing.

Second Bundesliga - Hannover 96: Arrey-Mbi goes - Rochelt comes

Defensive midfielder Bright Arrey-Mbi is leaving Lower Saxony Second Division team Hannover 96. The club announced that the 21-year-old German U21 national player is joining Portuguese First Division side SC Braga. The transfer details for Arrey-Mbi were agreed upon under confidentiality. According to media reports, Hannover received around six million Euros.

Arrey-Mbi joined Hannover on loan from FC Bayern in 2022, and was later permanently signed. In his two seasons for 96, he played in 49 mandatory matches.

"He has continuously developed and solidified his performances at Hannover 96. It was clear that he would sooner or later attract the interest of other clubs," said Hannover's Sport Director Marcus Mann.

As a replacement, the Sport Director was able to present offensive midfielder Jannik Rochelt from league rivals SV Elversberg. The 25-year-old signed a contract until June 30, 2027. Rochelt traveled to his new team's training camp in Saalfelden am Steinernen Meer, Austria. He is set to make his debut for Hannover 96 in the test match against Twente Enschede on Saturday (2:00 PM CET).

Hannover 96, based in Lower Saxony, Germany, is losing Bright Arrey-Mbi to Portuguese First Division side SC Braga through a transfer. Arrey-Mbi, a German U21 national player, spent two seasons with Hannover 96, making 49 mandatory appearances after joining on loan from FC Bayern.
