Basketball-Bundesliga - Hamburg Towers sign Jaizec Lottie

Basketball-Bundesligist Hamburg Towers have signed Jaizec Lottie from Latvian champion and cup winner VEF Riga. The 26-year-old American receives a contract with the Hanseaten initially for one year. Before his time in Latvia, the 1.88 meter guard played in Switzerland and Italy.

"We have been following Jaizec for a longer time," said head coach Benka Barloschky in a statement. "In his first year in Switzerland, he dominated. His move to Italy didn't go as planned as he had imagined. The way he reacted to this setback in Riga is very impressive and shows mental strength." Lottie is eager and ready, "to take the next step."

The Towers' new signing, Jaizec Lottie, hails from Italy, where he had a stint before his tenure in Latvia. Hamburg Towers, based in Germany, are now his new destination in the Basketball-Bundesliga. VEF Riga, the champions of Latvia, previously employed Lottie, who proved his resilience after facing challenges in Italy. Switzerland also served as a part of Lottie's basketball journey before joining Hamburg Towers.
