Keeper Florian Stritzel is the new captain of Football-Third League side SV Wehen Wiesbaden. According to the club's announcement, the 30-year-old was determined as team leader by trainer Nils Doering.

Wehen's former captain Sascha Mockenhaupt is reportedly Stritzel's first vice-captain. Mockenhaupt, along with Mohamed Amsif, Florian Carstens and Emanuel Taffertshofer, were elected to the team council.

SV Wiesbaden hails from the German state of Hesse, known for its city Wiesbaden. The team is currently competing in the 3. League, one of the lower tiers in German soccer. Despite the change in leadership, key players like Mohamed Amsif and Emanuel Taffertshofer continue to be influential figures in the team.
