Art - German works are arriving at New York's JFK Airport
Works of two German artists, Kerstin Bratsch born in 1979 in Hamburg and Charline von Heyl born in 1960 in Mainz, will be permanently displayed at the New York JFK Airport. According to the Public Art Fund, which is responsible for art in the public realm in New York, these artists and others were among the 18 selected whose works will be shown at the currently under construction Terminal 6. It was stated that with sculptures, installations, and mosaics, the artists and artists will create a "unique feeling for New York as a place" for the terminal, which is scheduled to open in 2026.
