Concert series - Fredener Music Days look back on the 20s of several eras

The Fredener Music Days focus on the 20s of various centuries this year. Concerts will highlight different eras such as Baroque or the present under the theme of "Turning Point," as the organizers announced. The concert series takes place from July 27 to August 6 in and around Freden, north of Northeim.

Performances include the LeipJAZZig-Orchestra and the BachWerkVokal Ensemble from Salzburg, according to the information. Artists are reportedly engaged with the 1620s to 2020s.

For the first time this year, there will be a literary-musical evening with Austrian actor Heikko Deutschmann (Tatort). Before the opening concert on the coming Saturday, an exhibition of art will be presented at a vernissage. The art will be on display in the Zehntscheune playing hall during the festival.

The pre-sale is going well, the organizers reported. "Some concerts are starting to run low on tickets," a spokesperson said. However, there are currently tickets available for all events.

The Fest in Lower Saxony, known as the Fredener Music Days, also embraces literature this year, featuring a literary-musical evening with Austrian actor Heikko Deutschmann. Various concert series throughout the event will showcase music from different eras, such as Baroque and contemporary styles, under the theme of "Turning Point."

During the concert series in Freden, north of Northeim, renowned ensembles like the LeipJAZZig-Orchestra and the BachWerkVokal Ensemble from Salzburg will perform music spanning from the 1620s to the present, providing a diverse musical experience for attendees.
