Criminality - Four men arrested during house break-in
Four men were arrested by the police in the Landkreis Würzburg during a burglary in progress and are now in custody for investigation.
Around 11 pm on Sunday, a woman from Unterpleichfeld reported a burglary at her house to the police and prosecutor's office. She noticed the intruders and fled to a neighbor's house, from where she called the police. Several response teams surrounded the house.
During the search of the premises, the officers were able to apprehend four suspects, some of whom were still in possession of their loot – jewelry worth approximately 1,000 Euro.
The men, aged 23 to 50, spent the night in police custody. On Sunday, they were brought before the district court. The investigating judge ordered their detention due to the pressing suspicion of the crime. The men were taken to different detention centers.
