After a major raid - Federal prosecutor's office brings charges against 27 suspected Reich citizens around Prince Reuß

The Federal Public Prosecutor's Office has brought charges against 26 alleged members and one alleged supporter of the Reich Citizens' Network around Frankfurt businessman Heinrich XIII Prince Reuß. They are accused of membership in a terrorist organization or supporting and preparing a highly treasonous enterprise, as the authorities announced in Karlsruhe on Tuesday. Three higher regional courts are to deal with the charges.

According to the information, the Frankfurt am Main Higher Regional Court will decide, among other things, whether to admit the charges against Reuß and former AfD member of parliament Birgit Malsack-Winkemann. Eight charges have been brought before the Munich Higher Regional Court and nine before the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court.

The alleged network was uncovered during a nationwide raid on December 7, 2022. Its members are said to have planned to overthrow the democratic system by force.
