2. Bundesliga - FCK signs Defensive player Gyamerah from Nuernberg

Soccer-Second division team 1. FC Kaiserslautern has signed Defensive player Jan Gyamerah from league rival 1. FC Nuremberg. "We were able to sign a proven 2. Bundesliga player in Jan who is also ready to take responsibility on and off the pitch," explained FCK-business manager Thomas Hengen. Kaiserslautern made no statements regarding the transfer details and contract length.

The 29-year-old Gyamerah has played over 170 games in the 2. Football-Bundesliga for VfL Bochum, Hamburger SV and Nuremberg. "I have only played for traditional clubs until now, which was a deciding factor for my decision to join FCK," said the new signing.

Gyamerah's past clubs in the 2. Bundesliga include VfL Bochum, Hamburger SV, and his latest team, 1. FC Nuremberg, all based in Germany.
