Football Bundesliga - FC Augsburg gives defender Colina again to Denmark

FC Augsburg has loaned out Croatian left back David Čolina to Danish top-tier club Vejle Boldklub once again. This was announced by the Bundesliga side on Saturday. The 24-year-old spent the last transfer window at the Danish club and appeared in twelve games.

Čolina will be loaned out for a year. Both clubs have agreed to keep the details of the deal confidential, it was stated. "After good talks with David, we have come to the conclusion that another year at Vejle is the best solution for him in the current situation," said FCA sport director Marinko Jurendic.

Čolina's contract with FC Augsburg runs until June 30, 2027. "The last six months in Vejle have been good for me, I was able to gain playing experience and prove myself at a good level," said the defender. "With the renewed loan, I now have the chance to build on that and take important steps in my career."

The Football-Bundesliga club FC Augsburg is based in Germany. Bundesliga side Augsburg has a rich history in German soccer. The loan agreement with Vejle Boldklub in Denmark also involved Bavarian team Fortuna Dusseldorf, as Čolina previously played for them in the Bundesliga before his stint in Denmark.
