Brand - Facade of a multi-family house is on fire

In Singen (District Constance), parts of a multi-family house's facade caught fire. All eleven residents were able to get out of the building safely, according to the fire department. Due to the suspicion of carbon monoxide poisoning, a 37-year-old man, a 38-year-old woman, and their 4-year-old daughter were taken to the hospital preventively.

The fire reportedly broke out on the first floor. The flames then spread to the balconies and the facade of the building, reaching as high as the third floor. Two balconies were completely engulfed in flames. The fire department was able to quickly extinguish the fire.

The fire department was able to prevent the flames from spreading to the interiors of the apartments and neighboring houses. The police have taken over the investigation into the cause of the fire. The damage is estimated to be around 150,000 Euros.

The fire department's quick action prevented the fire from affecting the children living in the affected apartments in Singen, which is part of Baden-Württemberg. Fortunately, Constance's fire department managed to save the entire building, including the family who were taken to the hospital due to carbon monoxide fears.
