Until the weekend, people in Hessen have to reckon with heat. Already on Thursday, as the German Weather Service (DWD) reported, it will be warm. On Friday, according to the forecast, it will be hot: The highest temperatures are expected to be between 29 and 32 degrees, in high altitudes up to 28 degrees is expected.

With pleasant weather, it remains rainless. According to the DWD, there is only a slight risk of showers in the mountains.

On Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise further: According to the DWD, temperatures of up to 31 to 34 degrees are to be expected. However, it can already rain and thunderstorms occur during the day. In the night from Saturday to Sunday, rain is expected to set in, heavy rain is possible according to the forecast.

On Sunday, it will be a bit cooler, according to the DWD, temperatures will be between 26 and 28 degrees. The rain will have stopped by evening.

Despite the predicted heat in Hesse throughout the weekend, there's a possibility of rain in Offenbach on Saturday, as DWD's weather prediction suggests. However, the rain is expected to clear up by Sunday, as per the DWD's forecast, bringing cooler temperatures between 26 and 28 degrees. Interestingly, DWD also predicts a rain-free weekend for the majority of Hesse, except for a slight chance of showers in the mountains on Thursday.
