The former Frankfurt football professional Jesper Lindstroem is moving on to the Premier League after just one year in Italy. Lindstroem is switching on loan from SSC Naples to FC Everton, as the Liverpool club announced. "I am 100% ready. I am so hungry. Last year was a tough year for me, but I am so happy to be here now and can hardly wait to get started", said the 24-year-old Dane.
Everton reportedly also has a buy option for Lindstroem in the coming summer of 2025. The offensive player was part of the team from Eintracht Frankfurt that won the title in the Europa League in Sevilla in May 2022. In the previous summer, it attracted Lindstroem from Frankfurt to Naples.
After a difficult season in Italy, the pro wants to restart in the Premier League with Everton. "Jesper is a player with very good skills who can play in many different roles. That will help us get started in the new season", said Everton's coach Sean Dyche.
