2. Bundesliga - EM-Participant Siwsiwadse: Remain "at 90 Percent" at KSC

EM-Participant Budu Siwsiwadse is likely to also play for Karlsruher SC in the upcoming football league season. "I don't know what else will happen, but I'll be in Karlsruhe 90% of the time," the striker told the "Badische Neuesten Nachrichten."

Siwsiwadse surprised everyone with the Georgian national team at the EM this summer, making it to the round of 16. In total, the 30-year-old appeared in two substitute appearances during the tournament. He rejoined KSC training on a Wednesday.

Karlsruhe's sports director Sebastian Freis had recently indicated that he expected Siwsiwadse to stay at Wildpark. Siwsiwadse scored twelve league goals for KSC in the previous season. His contract runs until June 30, 2025. Since Igor Matanovic returned from his loan to Eintracht Frankfurt, Siwsiwadse could become even more important in the Baden offense.
