Burgenland District - Due to closed kiosk - man attacks owner

A man injured the kebab shop owner in Zeitz on Friday evening because he refused to sell him anything more, after closing hours. The 26-year-old hit the lowered Venetian blinds and ignored the owner's announcements of closing. After the shop owner had left the shop, he was attacked by the intoxicated 26-year-old. The police are investigating for bodily harm.

The incident in Zeitz prompted discussions about safety in the Burgenland District of Saxony-Anhalt, as similar incidents of criminality have been reported lately. Despite the shop owner closing the sale, the intoxicated man continued his request, leading to the physical altercation, which is now under investigation by local police.
