Gender entry - Diver entries in Hamburg's registration sheet have quadrupled.

Since the introduction of the gender designation "divers" in the Hamburg registration office, the number of people with corresponding entries has almost quadrupled - albeit at a low level. According to the Senate's response to a written inquiry from the AfD citizens' faction, there were 967,423 male, 996,558 female, and 40 diverse people registered in Hamburg as of December 31, last year. The proportion of diverse people in the total population was therefore 0.002 percent.

According to earlier inquiries from the faction, there were only eleven "divers" entries in the Hamburg registration office at the end of 2019 - the first year of the new gender designation. Therefore, there were 14 such entries in 2020, 22 a year later, and 31 at the end of 2022.

The introduction of the "divers" gender entry in Hamburg, Germany, has significantly increased since its introduction, with a fourfold increase observed in just a few years. This change in society's gender entries has led to a greater representation, albeit a small one, in the citizens' assembly discussions.
