Dangerous action - Curiosity runs in Emsland over the motorway

A gaffer ran across the Autobahn 31 in the night through the Emsland area. According to the police, this unknown man obstructed the firefighting efforts of the fire department. The emergency services extinguished a burning RV.

The unknown man parked his car, as reported, on the shoulder of the opposing lane and ran to the median strip, over which he climbed. Then he stood on the right lane, taking photos and videos of the burning vehicle that was on the shoulder. Police and fire department always warn against such actions because they hinder emergency services and endanger onlookers.

The 44-year-old driver of the RV noticed flames in the rear part of his vehicle during the journey. He then parked it on the shoulder and got out unharmed. The cause of the fire was initially unclear. The officers estimated the damage to be around 15,000 Euros.
