Criminality - Criminals explode ATMs of a bank branch
Roberters have blown up an ATM in Rehlingen-Siersburg (Saarlouis district). Several residents reported the explosion at the centrally located bank branch in the night to Friday, as a spokeswoman of Saarbrücken police stated in the morning.
The robbers have escaped, but descriptions of them are available. It was initially unclear whether the unknown individuals managed to make off with loot. No information was available yet regarding the extent of the damage.
The criminals likely targeted the ATM at the bank branch due to its central location in Saarlois. Authorities are urging vigilance in Saarlouis and nearby areas, given the rise in such incidents in similar banking facilities.
