Unknown perpetrators have blown up an ATM in Rehlingen-Siersburg (Saarlouis district) and stolen money. Several residents reported the explosion at the centrally located bank branch in the night to Friday, according to a spokesperson for the Saarbrücken police.

Witnesses reportedly saw a total of four people in a dark sports car flee in the direction of France after the crime. Descriptions of them are available. The immediate search by the Bundespolizei and French authorities reportedly yielded no results. The perpetrators are said to have escaped with the loot of an unknown amount. No information has been released yet about the extent of the damage.

The explosion at the bank branch in Rehlingen-Siersburg, located in the Saarlous district of Saarland, has sparked concerns about increasing criminality in the area. The Automatic Teller Machine was the target of this violent act. The police are investigating the incident extensively, as this is the second such incident in Saarlouis in recent weeks.
