Circles: Suspect shot victim in the head
According to dpa information, the suspected Offenburg shooter is said to have suddenly shot his classmate in the head. Jealousy is a possible motive for the crime, it was reported on Friday. Several media outlets had previously reported on the suspected head shot.
The 15-year-old suspect is said to have shot his classmate of the same age at a special education school on Thursday. The victim succumbed to his injuries shortly afterwards, according to investigators. The young man shot at his classmate from a handgun in a classroom.
According to dpa information, the teenager probably got hold of the weapon at home. The suspect is said to have had a large amount of ammunition with him. After the crime, he was stopped by a father who was picking up his child.
The incident at the special education school can be classified as a serious crime. Despite being in a learning environment, weapons and violence have no place in schools.
