An Unknown person is suspected of setting a fire in St. Benedict Church in Argenbühl (Ravensburg district). According to the police, a volunteer noticed smoke coming from the church on Tuesday. The man alerted the fire department. The firefighters extinguished flames on parts of the church furnishings. No one was injured. The police are now investigating arson. A police spokeswoman made no statements about possible damages in the church due to ongoing investigations. The extent of the damage was initially unclear.
