Rescue operation - Child rescued from heated car

The police rescued a 1.5-year-old child from a locked car in Herxheim (Südliche Weinstraße). The 33-year-old mother contacted the emergency call when her car, on its own, locked itself on a public parking lot in the district of Hayna, the police reported. The key was in the ignition - the child was still in the car. Since she did not trust herself to break the window and it was very hot, the woman asked for the help of the police. They managed to free the child by breaking a side window with appropriate tools.

The outdoor temperature in Herxheim was significantly high during the rescue operation. The emergency call was made from the heart of Rhineland-Palatinate, specifically the district of Hayna. The police used automatic window-breaking tools to save the child. Despite the mother's concern, she had never experienced an emergency like this on Wine Street.
