Volleyball Bundesliga - Career delayed: Segura Pallares stays in Stuttgart

Spanish volleyball player Maria Segura Pallerés postpones her announced retirement this summer and will stay for one more year at Triple-Sieger Allianz MTV Stuttgart. After "many and very intense talks", an agreement was reached, the Bundesliga club announced. Pallerés completes the outside attack of coach Konstantin Bitter. "We are happy that Maria has decided to play volleyball for another year. With her great experience, she can support the new team in achieving their goals", said Sport Director Kim Oszvald-Renkema.

Maria's career-ending retirement in the summer was postponed, as she decided to stay with MTV Stuttgart, a renowned volleyball club based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. This decision allows her to continue her career in Bundesliga, specifically in the outside attack role under coach Konstantin Bitter. Additionally, her presence at MTV Stuttgart is expected to significantly impact the future of the team, given her vast experience, as mentioned by Sport Director Kim Oszvald-Renkema, who also works for MTV, the broader media company.
