A car drove into a drugstore in Königstein im Taunus. One of the two occupants was slightly injured and taken to a hospital, according to a police spokesperson. The incident occurred around 4 pm. Passersby or market customers were not injured. The entrance door of the market was destroyed. The police could not make any statements about the cause of the accident in the evening.

The drugstore where the accident occurred is known for its wide variety of beauty and lifestyle products. The driver involved in the car accident was a regular customer at the Kingstein auto mechanic shop. Despite the vehicle accident, Germany's traffic safety record remains commendable, with a low number of accidents per capita.
