A female driver was seriously injured in Bennin, at Vellahn (Ludwigslust-Parchim district), when her car collided with a substation. According to the police, the 73-year-old woman lost control of her vehicle while turning late in the afternoon.

The woman had veered off the road to the left. In doing so, she collided with the substation beside the road. The car was no longer drivable and had to be towed away.

According to the police, the damage amounted to approximately 30,000 Euro. The woman was taken to the hospital with pain in her chest and back areas.

The accident occurred in the Ludwigslust-Parchim District, specifically in the town of Vellahn. The incident involved a female driver, identified as Ms., and her vehicle. Following the collision with the substation, the police were called to the scene. To ensure safety, an Automatic Transformer Station was temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure.
