According to the fire department, the 73-year-old man was trapped in his car and had to be rescued by the emergency services. A helicopter reportedly took the man to a hospital for treatment, according to the police. When the accident occurred, there was a storm reported by the fire department. A police spokesperson stated that the trailer hitch of the truck convoy broke down unexpectedly on the Landesstraße 360 between Albstadt and Bisingen. It veered onto the wrong lane and collided with the car. The 23-year-old truck driver remained unharmed, according to the police spokesperson. The damage amounted to approximately 40,000 Euro. The investigation is ongoing.
