The entire attic of a two-story house in Upper Franconia is burnt out. The damage caused by the fire at Michelau (Lichtenfels District) on Tuesday is estimated to be around 300,000 Euros, according to the police. Around 140 firefighting forces managed to quickly bring the flames under control.

The responsible Criminal Police Coburg assumes, based on initial findings, that burnt food caused the fire. According to the reports, all residents of the house managed to get out in time, so there were no injuries.

The fire in Michelau, a part of Upper Franconia in Bavaria, was reported to the local police. Despite the extensive damage to the attic and potential property or goods, thankfully, no injuries were reported due to the timely evacuation. The fire department from various regions, including Coburg, worked together to extinguish the House fire.
