Basketball-Bundesliga - Braunschweig Lions recruit Chip Flanagan from Vechta

Bundesligist Basketball Lions Braunschweig announced the next transfer for the upcoming season. According to the club's statement, the 28-year-old forward Chip Flanigan has signed a contract for the next season with the Niedersachsen. In addition, an option for an additional playing season in the Lions jersey was agreed upon.

Flanigan was active for the past season for the league and local rival Rasta Vechta. The American particularly impressed with a 42% success rate in his three-point shots. "He is defensively tenacious, exudes shooting danger, and has a good eye for his teammates. His overall package is a win for us," said Lions business manager Nils Mittmann.

The Basketball Lions Braunschweig, based in Lower Saxony, Germany, are set to welcome Chip Flanigan in the Bundesliga next season. Flanigan previously showcased his talents in the league with Rasta Vechta, known for his impressive 42% three-point shooting accuracy. The city of Brunswick is excited to have Chip joining the local Basketball Lions, contributing to their ongoing success in the Bundesliga.
