Fire - Brand in Machinery Hall - High Damage
A damage of several hundred thousand Euros occurred in a machinery hall of an agricultural business in Greding (Landkreis Roth) due to a fire. The hall was already fully engulfed in flames when the emergency services arrived at night on Thursday, according to a statement. Preliminary findings suggest that a defect on a stationary tractor caused the fire.
Over 100 forces from the fire department, the Red Cross of Bavaria, and the Technical Relief Organization were involved. The post-extinguishing work lasted until the early afternoon. No people were injured.
The fire that caused significant damage to the machinery hall in Greding is located within the Landkreis of Roth, which is known for its rich agricultural businesses in Bavaria. The Red Cross from Middle Franconia, a region in Bavaria, also offered their assistance during the emergency.
