BER entrance hall evacuated due to fire alarm - fire department checks

The entrance hall of the capital's BER airport is currently being evacuated because a fire alarm system has been triggered. The fire department is investigating whether it is a false alarm, the airport announced. The security area is not affected.

In such scenarios, air traffic controllers might temporarily halt flights as a precaution. If the fire alarm proves to be an emergency, swift evacuation procedures are crucial.
