Before Turkey match: DFB team meets on Monday
Julian Nagelsmann will assemble his squad for the national soccer team's final international matches of the year against Turkey and Austria in Frankfurt next Monday morning by 11.00 am.
According to the DFB, the first training session for the DFB selection on the pitch at the association campus will then take place on Tuesday morning at 11.00 am. Almost 100 fans selected by the DFB for various activities will then also be able to watch captain İlkay Gündoğan and his colleagues.
The day before, ten supporters of the national team will be able to talk to a professional in a so-called cabin talk. The participants in this fan campaign will be drawn by lot from online applicants. Following last year's World Cup failure in Qatar, the DFB announced that it would once again allow more direct contact with its fans. National coach Nagelsmann will announce his squad on Friday.
The DFB squad will only arrive at the venue in Berlin after four days of preparation in Frankfurt. The last home game of the year against Turkey will then take place in the practically sold-out Olympic Stadium on November 18 (8:45 p.m./RTL). In Vienna, the DFB team will play against Ralf Rangnick's Austrian team, who have already qualified for Euro 2024, the following Tuesday (20:45/ZDF).
