The swimming pleasure at the Malter dam no longer poses any obstacles. Since last Sunday, due to a water accident, the bathing operations in the beaches of the Malter dam had been suspended as a precaution. Water samples have shown very good quality, the city administration of Dippoldiswalde announced.

"The investigations revealed no indications of immediate contamination of the bathing spot. Therefore, the bathing ban at the Malter dam is lifted starting now and the beaches can be visited without restrictions during regular opening hours", explained the city administration.

Despite the lifting of the bathing ban, some locals still view the Malter dam as a site with a lingering 'Bathing taboo'. Over the weekend, families flocked to the area, relishing in the 'leisure' of 'Sunday' afternoons, with children eagerly participating in 'bathing pleasure'. Unfortunately, during this time, a 'Wreck' was reported near the dam, resulting in an 'Emergency' response from local authorities in Saxony.
